Jamaica Non-Profit
Tennis Academy & Enrichment Center at Mount Zion
School of Promise Project
The Jamaica Non-Profit Tennis Academy and Enrichment Center at Mount Zion aims to support young adults in its community through tennis. We believe that tennis is a vehicle through which we can empower children and brighten their futures. The sport is a tool that can help children practice exemplary sportsmanship and develop a strong work ethic and technical skills, all while having fun. That is why we strive to ensure that all children, regardless of their socio-economic background or gender, have access to tennis. Our primary focus is on the children who attend Mt. Zion Primary School and the surrounding community, but special attention will be paid to recruiting girls, who are grossly underrepresented in tennis in Jamaica. Our passion for the sport and great experience is critical in helping our players develop as strong tennis players.
We focus on growing the sport of tennis in Jamaica by:
-
Introducing more people to the sport
-
Promoting the physical, social, and mental benefits of tennis
-
Offering scholarships so that money is not a barrier
-
Developing training programs for the youth
-
Providing organized training sessions
Help us continue shaping lives and educating the youth through tennis by making a generous donation.
We are always open to volunteers both on the tennis court and in our educational component.
With your support, we can continue to provide tennis rackets, tennis balls, training equipment, and supplies.
Your voice can go a long way towards making our mission, vision, and objectives come true.
