At Friends of Jamaica Non-Profit Tennis Academy & Enrichment Centre, we believe every young person deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and succeed through sports, education, and mentorship.
Our programs help children in Mount Zion, Montego Bay, and surrounding communities develop the confidence, discipline, leadership, and life skills needed to build brighter futures.
Our Mission
Friends of Jamaica is committed to expanding opportunities for young people throughout Montego Bay and surrounding communities by using tennis as a pathway to education, leadership, and lifelong success. Our goal is to help students pursue academic and athletic scholarships while promoting tennis as a viable career and profession.
Looking ahead, we aim to strengthen academic support, expand opportunities for girls in tennis, and create a safe, nurturing environment where every child can reach their full potential. We are also working toward a bold long-term vision of helping Jamaica produce its first Grand Slam and US Open champion within the next 10 to 15 years.
Every student, volunteer, donor, and partner plays an important role in making that vision a reality. Together, we are developing future champions, future leaders, and future community builders who will inspire the next generation both on and off the court.
